Dr. Loewen graduated medical school and the family medicine residency program at the University of Alberta. He has a diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the Canadian Association for Sports and Exercise Medicine. His practice interests include musculoskeletal medicine, particularly sports injuries and spine pain. Personal interests include cycling, snowboarding and backcountry touring.
